AIAT KUALA LUMPUR
AIAT Kuala Lumpur
In Collaboration with YAA
Following its successful editions in other regions, the Aerosim Inter-school Aviation Tournament (AIAT) is now in Malaysia. Working together with Young Aviator Academy (YAA), the tournament brings the same structured competition format, learning objectives, and aviation-focused experiences that have shaped AIAT over the years.
Malaysian students can now take part in this established aviation tournament, gaining exposure to aviation fundamentals, simulation-based learning, and team-based challenges — all within a competitive and educational environment designed to inspire future aviation talents.
The Stages for AIAT 2026
The Venue for this year's challenge
The University of Wollongong Malaysia, Glenmarie serves as the central venue for the Aerosim Inter-school Aviation Tournament (AIAT) 2026 Kuala Lumpur, hosting key milestones throughout the competition journey. As the home of AIAT’s first Malaysian cohort, this venue brings together learning, experimentation, and celebration under one roof.
From the Official Opening Ceremony to the Glider Flight Design Seminar and Workshop, participants will learn the fundamentals of aerodynamics and hands-on glider construction before putting their designs to the test in the Glider Flight Challenge. The venue also hosts Flight Simulation Training and the Flight Simulation Challenge, allowing students to apply their aviation knowledge in realistic simulated flight scenarios.
AIAT Kuala Lumpur will conclude here with the Closing Ceremony and Graduation Award Day, where outstanding teams are recognised and the first batch of AIAT Malaysia participants is celebrated. This venue is where ideas take shape, skills are tested, and a new aviation journey for Malaysian students truly begins.
